How to Grow
Soil: Moist, well-drained loam with pH 6.0–6.5. Mix compost or manure 2 weeks before planting.
Planting: Sow directly or in seed trays. Thin seedlings and water well after transplanting.
Fertilising: Apply fertiliser one week after sowing.
Harvest: 90–100 days. Cut stem close to the ground. Cutting a cross in the stump encourages mini heads.
Care: Add compost regularly. Protect from pests (e.g. slugs, aphids) with fleece or netting.
